Darkness surrounds this pitiful earth.
Shadows roam and devour the pure.
A void of sin and death prevails.
Where is the light all seek?

Golden light that drives away evil,
Is it but a memory of an age long past?
Where is the sun that comforts the soul?
Is it gone forever from the world?

Those who fly on the wings of innocence
Are shot down time and again.
They turn into creatures that crawl on dirt
For they seek the light they cannot find.

Shall night triumph and prevail
Or shall the morning dawn with hope renewed?
One thing is certain in this world:
People shall either see or forever remain cloaked by shadows.
