Green Hills: My Second Home
by Lem Dagalea
Have you ever gone to a hot bed of different forms of delightful conveniences and recreations? If not, then wait until you see Green Hills! I spent my high school days in La Salle Green Hills, and it would be common for energetic students like me to walk across the distance and visit Green Hills during Fridays – everyday after class if you are intense enough. To me, Green Hills is the best place to be!
For newbies, it may seem like an intimidating labyrinth of stalls, shops, and the like, but after a couple of visits or so, you can pretty much say that you know Green Hills like the back of your hand. It has a ton of food establishments for everybody. If you are feeling high class, Dencio’s, Gerry’s Grill, and other expensive restaurants are open to you. If not, you can save up on your budget from Jollibee, McDonald’s, and their other cousins. Going on, I, myself, am a fanatic reader, and if you are one too, you may sometimes spot me in National Bookstore and Fully Booked. Of course, my gaming skills are no less, so you can shop and trade games with me at Data Blitz or challenge me at the battleground known as Time Zone. With that being said, you san clearly call me a geek. I spend most of my time with different geek communities on Neutral Grounds for trading cards and 2RATS paired with Hobby Point for some anime. If you’re not the geek-type like me and you prefer to exercise, then the Quezon City Sports Club will welcome you with open arms. However, Green Hills isn’t all about that. There are a lot of sectors where you can get some awesome clothes which are of top quality, albeit cheap. At the off-chance you are ordered to buy stuff, you can find them here too. Medicine? Toiletries? Supplies? Gadgets? Almost everything fun, convenient, and affordable to the average Filipino, Green Hills has them all!
In short, Green Hills is an enjoyable place that will leave you wonderful memories after each visit. With everything stuffed inside that giant shopping center, I sometimes wish it was just a few blocks away from my home. In fact, I recognize it as my playground, my work place, and my second home. It is arguably the best place for almost anything, and when it comes to synthesizing practical convenience and fun-filled recreation, nobody mixes it like Green Hills!
