Suffering Heart
by Shii no Tenshi
Love loses its sweet caress
As time stops for no mortal.
Flowers blooms and leaves sprout
Only to fall and wither at winter’s breath.
The heart’s erratic beating,
It muddles the mind of the learned.
Family, friends and lover’s hearts
In the end, they shall drift away,
Leaving another alone, never knowing paradise.
Hearts bleed and break freely and easily,
A fragile figurine among jagged rocks.
One shall know love’s bitter curse
When pain and suffering run rampant in his soul.
Long live, love unrequited.
Its metallic tang fills my mouth
As ruby red drops flow from my eyes.
Cry freely, young soul.
Love’s pain courses through you.
